A BIT ABOUT ME
I am a proud mother of two adult children. They live their lives in a meaningful way with values that I fully embrace. Through my journey and life experiences growing up on the Cape Flats, I share and create a safe space for others to grow as they fulfil their aspirations. It is my way of contributing to the leadership pool in South Africa and society at large, especially female leaders.
I draw inspiration from being in nature, and by surrounding myself with beautiful flowering plants and trees. I believe that plants and nature energise me so that I can engage with my clients and the world with empathy, compassion and love.
As a professional, I have over 30 years of leadership and senior management experience in the international corporate world. I gained unique insight into the needs of leaders while applying myself as an executive manager at Shell, Old Mutual, the Imperial Group and the National Treasury. As Lead Project Manager, I established the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF). My role as a board member in the private and public sectors has given me invaluable corporate governance and ethics experience.
Today, as a Change Partners Coach, I team up with senior managers and executives (with a focus on female managers) to help them develop the tools to navigate and thrive in corporate boards and executive roles.
