Introduction:

My coaching approach focuses on partnering with leaders and organizational teams to create value for stakeholders so as to improve alignment of the strategic direction of the organisation. I work with leaders and teams, who in the VUCA era (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) have to thrive through disruption, manage rapid change, meet multiple stakeholder needs while navigating systemic complexity.

Experience

How does my career experience add value to what I bring to client relationships?

Over a period of more than 25 years, I worked in various industries both in South Africa and internationally. These include the banking industry; the insurance industry and I held a number of executive roles mainly in South African state-owned entities. For the last 15 years of my career as a senior executive, I led a number of diverse portfolios. I also acted as a CEO of a large state-owned entity for over 2 years and in this role, I engaged with diverse critical stakeholders including Boards, Parliament, various regulatory bodies and other critical stakeholders. In addition to strategic thinking, I also bring a good understanding of corporate governance, having been part of Exco for a number of years and also having been a board member of a large NGO operating in sub- Saharan Africa.

What qualifies me for my work with Change Partners?

In addition to extensive experience as a senior executive, I hold a number of postgraduate qualifications including a:

  • Master’s Degree in Management & Executive Coaching (MMBEC) from Wits Business School
  • Systemic Team Coaching Master Practitioner Diploma from the Academy of Executive Coaching (AOEC), UK
  • Masters Diploma in Management from  UK
  • Masters Diploma in Human Resource Management from the 

I am also a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Africa Board of Coaching, Consulting & Coaching Psychology (ABCCCP).
