Tjaart van der Walt

Tjaart has many years experience as a Business and Strategy Advisor, with nearly 30 years experience in starting up and/or managing various businesses in the consultancy industry, financial services industry and manufacturing industry. During the last ten years Tjaart led two successful turnaround initiatives as Managing Director and later as Chairman, in the manufacturing industry.

He has started up and/or managed businesses in the following industries: town and Regional Planning, Project Management, Corporate and Commercial Financing, Township Development and Construction, Import and Export, Film Industry, Fertilizer Industry, Beverages Industry.

Tjaart has served as Chairman or Committee Member on the Association of Consulting Town and Regional Planners, Institute of Town and Regional Planners and several Community Projects.

He has formal tertiary qualifications in Town and Regional Planning, Project Management, Financial Management and an MBA from Bond University (Australia) specialising in Entrepreneurship, Business Planning and Strategy.

Tjaart has been involved with the merger of 11 companies consisting of three divisions during 1997/1998.
