Sundra has leadership experience from working as Director at Career Transition International and as Country Manager at DBM in South Africa. He has over 25 years experience in Human Resources, working with multinational companies in South Africa, through the American Chamber of Commerce in South Africa, as well as through his post as Head of Human Resources for S.A. Cyanamid – a wholly owned subsidiary of American Cyanamid Company - where he worked closely with the Sullivan Code (as Vice-Chairman of the Signatory Association - the American business community’s support for change to a democratic South Africa).
Sundra also has over 16 years of consulting in leadership development including project managing executive education programmes in association with the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) and Howard University (Washington D.C.), personal effectiveness, and integration coaching (on-boarding) as well as career management and change management expertise.
Sundra’s areas of special focus include leadership development, overall career management and personal effectiveness, as well as new appointment or “on-boarding” coaching. He recently facilitated a leadership development programme for senior managers in emerging markets.
Sundra holds a law degree through the University of South Africa, and previously qualified and taught as a secondary school teacher, specializing in Physics and Chemistry. He has completed Executive Education programs at the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) and Howard University (Washington, D.C.).
