Matodzi Liphosa

Matodzi has extensive business know-how and entrepreneurial skills gained through the various executive positions he held with Adcorp Holdings and NAFCOC, as well as his participation in some very large BEE business deals.
 

For the past three years he has been intimately involved in leadership development in his role as Group Executive Director responsible for Human Resources and Corporate Social Investment management at Adcorp Holdings. Earlier on in his career he was involved in identifying business opportunities and developing strategies and structures to access these opportunities. He also had his own consulting business for six years where he honed his communication and marketing strategy ability.

Matodzi has joined Change Partners so that he can share his wealth of knowledge and wisdom gained from years of personal experience in the tough business world.

He started his career in Social Work after qualifying at the University of the North and at the University of the Witwatersrand. He spent a fascinating academic semester at the University of the North, NC, USA where he studied management of non-governmental organisations.

His fascination with leadership development took him to the University of Cape Town, Witwatersrand as well as the American Management Association in Washington, USA.

He is currently a non-executive director of Etana Insurance and is a Trustee for the Hollard Foundation.
