Lovelle has held
executive positions in banking, finance and the service
sector. She is a former Managing Director: Africa for
American Express International and Experian. She has
grown businesses from a zero base to industry
leadership, led turnaround strategies and spearheaded
successful cross-border growth into markets in West,
East and North Africa.
She has more than 35 years’ business experience in sales
and general management in industries as diverse as
finance, data management, office furniture and
industrial cleaning.
People development and succession planning at companies
on a high growth trajectory, triggered Lovelle’s initial
interest in mentorship, leading to growing fascination
with executive coaching as a means of securing
individual and business success. She says the most
powerful aspect of coaching is “the opportunity to
unleash someone’s ability to reach goals beyond their
own belief. The biggest dream, broken into bite-size
pieces, can be achieved.”
After studying Drama at Cape Town University, Lovelle
decided to follow a business career. She currently
serves on The Council of the Institute of Directors. She
completed her banking qualifications with the Institute
of Bankers. She received her initial training in
executive coaching at Wits Business School. She is
currently studying towards a post-graduate certificate
in Coaching from Middlesex University. |
