Internationally, leadership has become the single most
sought-after business talent and Clarence revels in the
challenge of coaching executives to become great
leaders.
A coach challenges embedded thought processes and
enables clients to revisit preconceived values within ‘a
crucible of trust’. He explains: “Trust creates a safe
space in which clients are not frightened to push the
boundaries of their thinking or discuss the consequences
of their behaviour.”
Leaders face a conundrum as “they cannot walk in the
middle of the road and expect to be better than their
competitors.” He adds: “Hard work, passion and
determination is required. To attain sustainable success
Executives have to manage the stress and maintain some
balance. Executive Coaching helps restore a sense of
balance.”
Clarence graduated with a B.Comm degree from Rhodes
University before going on to study at a number of
tertiary educational institutions both in South Africa
and in the USA. He also holds the post-graduate
certificate in Coaching from Middlesex University.
