Pat’s experience has been with large organsations working both on fast-tracking the personal development of individuals identified as talent and with leaders on addressing specific issues they face within their organisations. Pat spent more than 2 decades in a leading role in the field of communication strategy consulting prior to becoming an executive and business coach. She has consulted to executives at board level in every business sector in South Africa as well as to senior representatives of government and parastatals. During her career she has held the position of managing director of two of the larger communication consultancies. She grew one of these from a start up to become the first majority black-owned and staffed communication strategy consultancy to attract industry accolades and awards.
Pat holds the PCC executive coaching qualification from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. She is accredited as an Integral Coach by New Ventures West in the USA, which is affiliated to the International Coach Federation. She has ACC accreditation from ICF and is a accredited Enneagram practitioner by Adfen International. She has completed Level 2 of Conscious Embodiment. In addition to being one of less than 100 Accredited Communication Practitioners (APR) in South Africa, Pat holds a teaching diploma from Grahamstown Training College, part of Rhodes University. She has completed a range of post graduate courses in the area of business management, having studied at Wits Business School, GMIT and at the Aspen Institute in Colorado, U.S.A.
